By downloading, installing, or using the PawDoc mobile application or website at pawdoc.co ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PawDoc ("we", "our", or "us"). Please read them carefully.
PawDoc is a dog care application that allows users to:
Certain features of the Service require a paid Companion plan subscription, as detailed in Section 6.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By using PawDoc, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
If you are using PawDoc on behalf of a household, you represent that you have the authority to bind all members of that household to these Terms.
To use PawDoc you must create an account using a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep this information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
Each person may maintain only one PawDoc account. You may invite multiple caregivers to your family hub — they each have their own separate account.
You agree to use PawDoc only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You are solely responsible for all content you submit to PawDoc, including pet activity logs, notes, photos, and caregiver information. You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit this content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
PawDoc offers a free plan with access to core features including activity logging, basic milestones, family hub (up to 2 pets), and 90 days of activity history.
The Companion plan is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features including:
Current pricing is displayed within the app and on our website. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on your device. Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Companion features until then. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by applicable law.
Refund requests must be made through Apple or Google directly, in accordance with their respective refund policies.
Where offered, free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial ends.
PawDoc uses artificial intelligence to generate health insights, symptom checker responses, and pre-vet appointment briefs based on your logged activity data.
The AI-generated content provided by PawDoc is for informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified veterinarian for medical advice regarding your pet's health. Never delay seeking professional veterinary advice because of something you read in PawDoc.
AI-generated insights are based solely on the data you have logged in the app. The accuracy and relevance of insights depends entirely on the completeness and accuracy of your logs. We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.
If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, contact a veterinarian immediately. Do not rely on PawDoc for emergency guidance.
When you invite a caregiver to your family hub, you grant them access to view and add activity logs for your pet(s). You are responsible for ensuring that anyone you invite has consented to their data being processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
Caregivers who accept an invitation agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. They agree to use the family hub only for the purpose of caring for the pets they have been invited to care for.
You may remove a caregiver from your family hub at any time via Settings → Caregivers. Removed caregivers immediately lose access to your pet's data.
The PawDoc app, website, logo, design, text, graphics, and all other content created by us are owned by or licensed to PawDoc and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to PawDoc (activity logs, notes, photos). By submitting content, you grant PawDoc a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about PawDoc, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
Your use of PawDoc is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using PawDoc, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100 (GBP), whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PawDoc and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
You may stop using PawDoc and delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at hello@pawdoc.co. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 30 days, either party may pursue the dispute through the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer located in the EEA, you may also have the right to submit a complaint to your local consumer protection authority or use the EU's online dispute resolution platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email to the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account before the effective date.
